SEN (Special Education Needs)
If your child is currently receiving SEN support of any description and you have any questions or concerns about their provision, beyond what we are providing, please do get in contact with Mrs Riordan (our Special Educational Needs Coordinator) using the nursery email address (email@example.com). If you would like further specific SEN support, ideas for activities or to share what you have been up to, she will do her best to respond with the support of Mrs. Sullivan, class teachers and outside support.
The SSENS department has issued this guidance for parents with SEN.
There is information on going back to school on several pages on our web site, such as on the letters page; parents page - under information for children joining reception and each class page. All these are helpful for all children. The following sheets may also be of help.
Best of all, talk to your child now and during the summer break about returning to school. These sheets will be a helpful starting point for discussions, especially how they are feeling. Often they worry about different things to what we as adults imagine, so a chat now can easily put their minds at rest.
Have a good summer break!
