In EYFS at Clarendon Infant School we strive for the children to take pride, respect and success in their learning. We understand that children have the desire and curiosity to play. Play stimulates children's physical, emotional and cognitive development. At Clarendon Infant School we encourage children's love of play through a safe and secure learning environment. We believe that children's first experience of school should be happy and positive. We provide opportunities for children to learn through play which we believe encourages them to develop a desire to learn. Our aim is to build a love of learning through the four overarching principles of early years:
