As a school, we are very aware of the extra strain upon our military families being caused by the current conflict and therefore are dedicating the use of our service premium to provide the extra pastoral support required to support children whose parents are involved in or have been deployed to serve in the current conflict in Ukraine. We are very grateful to the Armed Forces Education Trust for providing us with a grant to fund a Service Pupil Champion for this academic year to work with the children in our school community. This enables us to support the children's emotional wellbeing, develop their confidence, resilience and self esteem and helps them develop positive attitudes to school life and learning.
