To support the transition into school we are having a ‘September 2024 parent’s presentation’. At this meeting you will be told all the information you need for being prepared for your child starting with us in September.

Please see inside your child's welcome pack for information on the morning or afternoon grouping. 

In order to ease the transition into school the children will be split into two groups. Group one will start in the mornings and Group two will start in the afternoons. This allows the children to settle into the class in smaller numbers, letting them get to know their teachers and making their start at school as positive as possible. 

Week 1

Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th September –

Morning ½ class 9.00am till 11.30am

Afternoon ½ class 12.30pm till.3.00pm

Please wait at the red gate by the school office and a member of staff will show you to the classrooms.

Thursday 5th – Friday 6th September –

Whole class for morning 8.50am till 1pm.

The children will be staying for lunch on these days. They will have the option of having a hot school dinner or you are more than welcome to provide them with a packed lunch.

Week 2

Monday 9th September - Whole class all day 8.50am till 3.15pm full time.

Please speak to the class teacher if you feel your child needs a longer transition period.
