SEN Support Teaching Assistant
We are looking to appoint someone to complement our existing excellent team of support staff. The role will entail working with identified pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting them to engage with activities both in and out of the classroom but also developing their independence.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a warm and caring approach to the child they work with and will be confident in supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of this child.
We are seeking a candidate who is friendly, flexible and compassionate.
The successful candidate will be able to form productive working relationships with the class teacher, SENDCo, parents and other outside agencies.
In return we can offer:
Hours of work: 8.30-12 and 1-3 daily – 27.5hrs per week
Contract type: Fixed term contract until July 2025
Closing date (and time): Friday 14th MARCH 2025 at 3PM
Interview date: The week beginning 17TH MARCH 2025
Commencement date: 24TH March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a warm and caring approach and be able to be confident in supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of the children they work with.

The successful candidate will be able to form productive working relationships with the class teacher, SENDCo, Resource Base Manager, parents and other outside agencies.
