On Thursday 11th May, Year 1 were incredibly lucky to have a visit from the local police force. The visit included PCSOs and Policemen. The visit linked to the PSHE topic for this term and the children were able to see people who help us in real life. During the visit, the children were able to listen to stories about the police and people they can trust. They were also given the opportunity to see a Police car and were able to listen to the siren - it was very exciting!
On Friday 5th May, the whole of Clarendon Infants School celebrated the coronation of King Charles. The day was full of exciting activities such as crown making, King Charles collage and flag making. The children were able to wear their own party clothes and join in the party! We also had a brilliant street party style picnic with the whole school. All the children were able to participate and it had a wonderful party atmosphere!
