Woodland Walks - Year 1
During Monday 14th - Thursday 17th March, Year 1 went on woodland walks in the local area. They walked through Tidworth and into the woods. During the walk, they identified signs of Spring and discussed things they could see and hear. Once they arrived at a woodland clearing, the children were given the opportunity to complete tasks. They were able to: collect resources for a woodland collage, take photos of interesting things using the IPads and complete tree rubbings. The children then walked sensibly back to school and discussed what they learnt. Each class had a brilliant trip and they are looking forward to their next woodland walk!
