Pencil control activities

This page has some links to activities to help your child develop their pencil control, or fine motor skills. They can be done on paper with pens, or in many other ways - copy patterns with a finger in a tray of sand or rice; a paint brush on paper or with water outside; for example. There are also some cutting activities, which is also good for developing hand control. More are added so keep looking here - or email me for more if you need them!

Developing a good efficient pen grip is also very important. To help with this thee are 2 documents below that show suggestions on how to develop the ideal one for your child.
