Lock-down diary

Remember to start that diary! Not only is it a great historical document, it will allow you to think about how you are feeling.

3rd April 2020

Dear diary,

We can't believe we have all made it to the Easter Holidays - just remember not to eat too many chocolate eggs.

Please remember to log into your Bug Club regularly and read all sorts of books and plays. Nightingales - If you are feeling bored - there are still Professor Assessor tasks to complete next week if you want to do them ;-) We can't wait for our new topic to be launched next term - it's a good one ;-) Here is a sneaky clue:

"I am stinky and smelly, with breath made of fire,

There are scales on my tail with razor sharp claws on my feet,

flying high in the sky,  I am not to be ridden unless you are brave"

Have a guess and see if you can work out our riddle.... Until you hear from us again - play nice and be kind to each other, help your parents and stay safe ;-)

We will write again shortly,

Mrs T, Mrs G, Mr T and Mrs K ;-)

31st March 2020

Dear diary,

Well hasn't March seemed like a rather long month! We are all trying very hard to keep busy and find fun things for our children to do, each teacher is trying to google lots of online games (some we have put on the website already) and photocopied some paper copies of some things to do or when the children are in school.  At least the weather is mostly sunny and warmer than last term - we had our lunch outside in the sunshine and enjoyed some fresh air! We just about all remembered to change our clocks forward at the weekend- no lie-ins for us teachers!!

We will write again shortly,

Mrs T, Mrs G, Mr T and Mrs K ;-)

23rd March 2020

Dear diary,

We all got ready to come in and do lots of grown up admin tasks this morning and the school seemed very quiet without the children. We had lots of time to talk about how we can help school run smoothly through the next week or so and we thought about the children enjoying the learning packs. We had lots of chats about how we hope the children are reading lots of online stories on Bug Club - we really miss our class story time together.

We will write again shortly,

Mrs T, Mrs G, Mr T and Mrs K ;-)

Here is our first entry (from Mrs T and Mrs Green).

20 March 2020

Dear diary,

What a strange day! We are getting ready to say farewell to our classes for a while.  We know it's the right decision but we still feel really sad.  We're excited that we will get to nag you on-line and in new ways!

We will write again later.

Mrs T and Mrs G
