The Governors play an active part in school life. They work together with the staff to ensure the best is achieved for the school.

Full Governing Body meetings are held termly, generally from 5pm-7pm.
There are three main sub committees that also meet termly.

FINANCE - This committee monitors how school funding is spent, and ensures we strive for "Best Value"

CURRICULUM - This committee monitors what we teach and how it is taught.

PREMISES - Monitors the Buildings, discusses new projects and looks after all aspects of Health and Safety.

Each Governor is assigned to a class and makes links with the pupils and are invited to class assemblies. They are always willing to lend a hand at Bazaars and school special days if they are free. Their role is varied, challenging and fulfilling. Full training is offered by the local Authority.
